We always celebrate Liam using the potty (whether he just tries or is successful) with a song and dance. Here is Liam smiling while I sang his potty song.

Potty Shark
We got some cute pictures of Liam at bath time tonight. He now sits on the potty as part of the bath time routine. Tonight he was wearing his shark towel and I snapped a shot.

Lipstick and the great outdoors
This week when I was away on a trip for work I got the following picture from Tobias which said, 'Guess who found your lipstick when I turned my back for 15 seconds to answer the phone!'
We have had some beautiful Spring weather at the end of Winter. Liam LOVES being outside. Here are some pictures from our adventures this weekend.
This year Liam doesn't want to ride in GG's wagon; he wants to pull it. The only exception is the slight downhill on Jones Road. He will get in for that and that only.

Liam still loves the water. We spent nearly an hour today collecting rocks and throwing them in. After we ran out of rocks he began pulling grass and loved watching it 'swim'.
I wasn't sure if I would be able to get Liam to come home after he discovered this. The curve is just his size and he did not want to leave.
Tobias and Liam put up our wind chime and a bird feeder when I was gone. Liam loves hitting the chime but it is hard for him to reach. Today he figured out how to make it easier!

Elefants, dogs and diapers
We have so many cute Liam stories from the past week. I'll start with the animal ones.
At play school Liam's class got a visit from the Build-a-Bear Factory. This is a store that allows kids to make their own stuffed animals. Today Liam got to make his own dog. He loves his dog (or bow-wow, as he says). This evening he looked at Tobias and said that his dog was hungry and he needed food. Liam went to the freezer and took out a waffle and fed it to his dog. He then said his dog needed milk and apple juice. After the dog finished his milk and juice Liam said his dog needed a diaper. He spent some time working on diapers before deciding his dog needed a bath.

HaarWAS?!
Liam is getting a haircut next weekend. I always chuckle when he tries to say "Haarschnitt' because it sounds very funny to an English-speaker. I know I shouldn't bait him this way but I think this is too cute. Enjoy our accidental potty-mouth.

More bicycle!
Liam has fallen in love with Popsicles. We got them when he was so sick and we needed to get fluid in him that he could keep down. The doctor recommended them because they eat them slowly and can't drink them so fast they get sick again. Now that Liam is healthy he realizes they are 'lecker!!' Tonight he wanted one before bed. He asked so sweetly that I caved and said 'yes.'
While eating . . .

Liam also had his first day on the Tumble Bus at play school. http://www.gymstrada.com/tumblebus.htm This is something optional the play school offers. We did not start Liam with this since he was already adjusting to so many new things at one time. In the last week or so, however, he has started talking about the Tumble Bus. I asked him if he wanted to try it and he said, 'Ja, bitte.' When I got home today I asked him he had fun and wanted to do it again next week. He answered 'nochmal! (again!).

HANNES!!!!!!
We started our day with a typical Liamhannes story. Liam loves going in the dresser and getting batteries and light bulbs. This morning we were trying to get out of the door for work and we heard the dresser open. Tobias found Liam pulling out a light bulb. He told Liam very firmly that he was not allowed to get light bulbs out of the dresser. Liam's solution - he promptly went into our bedroom and took a light bulb out of a reading lamp. Here is Liam with his booty. And, yes, he is eating popcorn. It was not his breakfast. He saw me take it out of my lunch bag when I was packing it. He loves popcorn and hasn't really learned that it is not a breakfast food.
