I just got a call at home from the NICU, which any parent who has a child there will tell you stikes terror in your heart when you see they are calling you at home. My first question was if everything was alright and the nurse assured me it was.
She was calling to let me know that the doctor wants to try increasing Liam's bottle feedings to every other feeding. This has come a lot faster than we expected so we'll have to see if he is ready for it. She said they will try it, but if it wears him out they will cut back.
At least it is a positive sign that they feel he is ready to try this. We'll have to see how he does.
