They removed Liam's ventilator last night at 1100. Tobias went in at 400 today to see how he was doing and be brought me this picture, since I was not allowed to get up at that time.
Liam is breathing too rapidly right now but is still breathing on his own. They are also monitoring a heart murmur, which we have been told is pretty typical for babies his age. Tomorrow I am supposed to be able to hold him for the first time so he can have 'kangaroo time' with Mommy.

HE IS ADORABLE!!!! what a perfect baby boy!!! he has the prettiest features and for being only 4 pounds wow.. he looks great... thanks for posting pics... I love seeing them...
